Some Changes at the Preventive Health Guide
It’s been a while since I have written in the blog. There are new exiting things happening at the Preventive Health Guide. I have decided to take a more holistic approach and extend the guide further to include three new areas over the next few months.
Firstly, we can not look at preventive health issues in a social vacuum – healthy human relationships are often the key to long term personal health. We are therefore including a section on Relationships.
Secondly it is a well published fact that obesity leads to so many of the degenerative diseases. The obesity epidemic deserves a focus that we have not previously given it. Weight Loss and Preventing Obesity will be the second new area of the website that we will develop over the next few months.
Thirdly a major contributing factor in poor health and a number of degenerative diseases are addictions. Addictions take many forms. The most obvious are alcohol, tobacco and drugs related. Dealing with this area of care is practicing true Preventive Health. This will also be a new area of focus of the Preventive Health Guide.
So to summarise the three new areas are Healthy Relationships, Weight loss, and Preventing Addictions. Watch this space………..
